Community Garden

In 2002, the Jack Purcell Recreation Association donated $7,500, with matching funds donated by the City of Ottawa, to create an enchanting community garden. The garden was made possible by a $10,000 donation from Levinson/Viner, who selected the Jack Purcell Community Centre, to receive the donation in memory of Ron Kolbus, a city councillor. The garden was designed, so that the citizens, especially the children, of Centretown could volunteer to work in it or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. Come and visit our garden.     Due to all schools and extended care being cancelled, tomorrow (February 13, 2019) our After School Program will be cancelled.

  • Creativity Through Watercolour- Cancelled February 13th

    Due to the weather, the Creativity through watercolour class is cancelled.

    The make-up will be April 17th, 2019.

  • Family Day- Centre Closure

    We will be closed on Monday, February 18th for Family Day.
