Fitness Schedule

The Jack Purcell Recreation Association (JPRA) offers evening fitness classes. Your week starts off with Fitness Fusion, a combination of cardio and weight training where the focus is on a high-energy workout. Then try Short Circuit that challenges your muscles through frequent –and short–changes that keep your body off balance. HIIT is a must of high energy and high intensity. Then end the week with Total Body Strength that combines both traditional and advanced techniques with high repetitions to push you to your limit.

We provide the equipment and our workouts incorporate everything from weighted bars, stability and small balls, ab rollers, steps and mats, and weights ranging from 5 to 25 pounds. Instructors change up the equipment daily and weekly, so we recommend that you show up early to get set up for your workout.

Our evening Zumba Xplosion class offers you a workout set to Latin style dance moves to get your heart pumping and your body moving. You’ll burn calories, strengthen your core and have also fun. It won’t seem like a workout!
