Come out and try this fast-moving Olympic sport of agility and hand-eye coordination. Some basic instruction is provided and you’ll be surprised how quickly you improve. Sign up with a friend; meet new people.

This program is restricted to adult players only. We provide the birdies. Spare racquets are available but it is recommended that you bring your own.
NOTE: Priority to play is given to those who register for a full session. Drop Ins are accommodated if space permits and at the discretion of the instructor. First come, first served. This program is restricted to adult players only.

About your instructor:
Eitan Waldman took up the game of badminton while completing his master of economics degree at Queen’s University.  He arrived in Ottawa in 2010 to take a position with Natural Resources Canada.  He enjoys hiking, bicycling and shooting pool.

On his arrival in Ottawa, he began attending the JPRA Badminton Program and became its coordinator in 2012.  He believes that the number one rule in playing the sport is to have a fun.  He provides some basic instruction but in a friendly, use-what-advice-you-want manner.

NOTE:  New start time for spring session:  7:30 -9:30 p.m.
