This intense strength training workout, with high repetition movements, pushes you to your limits. It’s an addictive workout that develops strength, power and muscle mass. You’ll use a blend of traditional and advanced techniques. You burn calories during strength training, and your body continues to burn calories even after the class–a process called “physiologic homework.” More calories are used to make and maintain muscle than fat. In fact, strength training can boost your metabolism by 15 percent and this can really jumpstart a weight loss plan. (Please arrive early to set up equipment.Wear proper shoes and bring water.)
